In 1998, Luciano Pavarotti organized a concert to benefit the children of Liberia. This was one of Pavarotti's famous star-studded 1990s concerts for War Child. The concert was released on CD and home video, titled "Pavarotti & Friends For The Children Of Liberia", and featured performances by Jon Bon Jovi, Spice Girls, Trisha Yearwood, Celine Dion, Stevie Wonder, The Corrs, Eros Ramazzotti, Vanessa Williams, Zucchero Fornaciari, Pino Daniele, Florent Pagny and Natalie Cole. With Canadian songstress Celine Dion the tenor performed the song "I Hate You Then I Love You", originally titled "Never, Never, Never". Besides performing the song in concert in Modena, it was also recorded for Celine's 1998 studio album "Let's Talk About Love", which featured collaborations with Barbra Streisand, R.
